Today, I saw my dinner. I love beef so much. My Daddy and Mommy took me on an adventure to see some pretty cool rocks. We drove down snowy muddy roads. Oh, how I wanted to get out and play. Then in the middle of the road were COWS! My heart was racing. I tried to walk up to one of them but I leaped into my Mommy's arms. Too BIG! I think from now on I will watch them from the Jeep. Finally, the Jeep stopped and I saw the purfect place to climb. Daddy said that we were at Arch Rock. I just wanted to climb to the top. I tried to get to it but the snow was deeper than me! I even tried hopping in Mommy's footsteps but I am still too little. We jumped back in the Jeep and started for home but all of sudden Mommy started to hold me really tight. We slid into a huge pile of snow! They tried to get us unstuck. Daddy took my litter box out of the back. I knew this wasn't going to be good for me. He put my litter under the tires. MY LITTER! I was thinking things could get messy in here. Thankfully, two oil field workers drove by and pulled us out. Daddy said from now on we are keeping all the gear in the Jeep. I don't know what that means but I'm hoping that means he won't use my litter again. When we got home, I was dirty, so I sat on my Daddy's clean clothes and bathed myself. Meow!
I bounced out of our home into cold wet white stuff, again. I remember it from the frozen lake I walked on. I'm so glad that I wear a fur coat. The snow was deep. I lead my parents closer to sounds of the birds and rushing water. I was thinking that this better not be another ocean. I was so happy to see it was just a river. The biggest birds with long necks started shouting and flying away. They were bigger than me! Where did they go? I tried to follow them but they landed in the water. I climbed out onto a branch in the river and took a drink. It was cold and tasted a little like fish. I'll have to have some more when we go back. This place had a lot of rocks and branches for me to play on. Mommy kept telling me it was time to go but I wasn't ready. Daddy picked me up and carried me back to the bridge so I could play on it. Mommy and Daddy said that we will be here for awhile. I really like New Mexico.
